And this means what? Go watch the fight, if he knew the fight was over, he has pretty quick reflexes. By the time the punch connects, a mere moment later the second punch lands. If you think he had time to analyze the situation and make a decision to 'get another shot in' in some deviant way, then you are kidding yourself. Honestly. If you have watched any of Henderson's fights, you would see him jump guard and throw that same punch. Some fights the dude on the ground defends, sometimes they are out cold. Henderson made the right decision. Was Marquart smart not to punch Maia one last time? Probably not, and I would imagine his entire team reviewed that.
I am not sure what you mean by him being in the wrong. He did everything within the rules. What you are saying is almost like saying a team had no right to score another goal because they were up by too many already.
