There are certainly hints toward the hats being unlockable upon killing someone with one, and for the king of the hill mode. I'm still kind of curious about this "Ro-Bot" thing, and reference to "Robin" being the most common name for Australian girls.

Robin Walker is some sort of person in charge of TF2. So it is a jab at him.
As for the Ro-bot...new engie building! You can build a roaming sentry robot! No more peeking around the corner to destroy sentries...
