No, if you understood it you would know we aren't all going to die.
Define fast. How many generations? How long is a generation? What's the base mutation rate per generation. Do you know how many mutations there are between you and your parents even?

Depends on which teachers you have. It's obvious that some teachers aren't very adept at it.
And some continue their education themselves throughout their lives.
