But it rarely goes after a bull walrus, it preys on the children and weak ones. I know there's a youtube video of a polar bear killing a bull, but that's a rarity
There's also videos of adult walruses being bitten by polar bears and pretty much walking it off (and I know, a big exaggeration and the walruses are pretty much 3000lbs of blubber to protect against the polar bear). But what actually happens in the fight? The gorilla isn't going to give it clear slash or bite to the throat, it's going to be swinging at the bears head, and smashing it hard, if it bites it's chest, the gorilla gets a couple huge blows in that I don't see a polar bear being able to live because of the brain damage. That's not to say it dies instantly, but I don't know, I think if we're assuming this happens in the wild, one might out survive the other, but both die because of the injuries.
