Even though I live in Vancouver now, I have followed the ICE since they moved to Cranbrook, and despite their ability to win close games (like last night in Prince Albert), they are too young to make any noise this season. They REALLY miss Dustin Sylvester too, and Andrew Bailey hasn't put up the numbers since DaSilva graduated. They do have a bright future though, hopefully Nathan Lieuwen's concussion issues don't hurt his chances in the draft.
Seattle on the other hand, are settled in their new building, they have a bunch of home games to finish the year, and are a dark horse in the West (unless they draw Kelowna in the first round). And if they do end up getting Oscar Moller back (which still is in the realm of possibility), look out.

Well, I must admit that you do have far more exposure to the teams than I do. I didn't think that the difference was that great, but given your stated arguments and your knowledge of the teams, I can certainly admit that the difference may be greater than I perceived.
