Touching monologue at the end with Conan thanking his staff, writers, and fans over the years. His acknowledgement of Letterman and Leno was classy.

As far as the last show itself, there was no way they could have ended Late Night without Andy Richter. I was dissapointed they didn't do any new material (like a final "in the year 2000"), but they had a lot of great clips instead. The White Stripes performance was a bit bland (and I say that as a huge fan of theirs). I expected something more uptempo and energetic but I think they were trying to be nostalgic or something.

My wife observed that Conan neglected to say anything about Jimmy Fallon. Anyone else find that odd?
