I guess so, but I bought the game for online only and it's been a hassle ever since I got it. Dirty disc errors, connection errors, multiple types of glitch goals, juice points, infinite loop on the faceoff when the game glitches, and just the overall polish. Why do we have have to waste up to an extra 10 minutes a game because some goof isn't pressing A? Why can't I tell who's talking during the game? Why can some loser on my team ruin the game for the rest of us with no recourse?
Some of this stuff is pretty basic for a multiplayer game. But as this game is also heavy on single player too, maybe it just stretches itself too far over both game types.
Oh well, after this patch, it might be worth the $60 I spent on it (IMO of course). I just have to stop relying on the reviews and wait a bit, maybe do a rental before I buy them.
