It's my least favourite album of theirs but it certainly is "them". If you don't like it, you might not like anything else.
I don't know if there is anything to "get". They are just a band after all. All this "you don't get it" stuff is probably the reason there is such a backlash.
The amount of love they get is over the top. It reminds me of pretentious Mac fanboy ######bags and I can understand why it would turn people off.
