And then as you go back, #4 is similar you play the best in the bracket no matter what your seed is, so presumably that's a high seed, the only benefit to being a one seed is that the best that team can be is a two. Correct?
So for half of the 6 games you have almost no change in the path to the NC regardless of your seed right? So that's why I'm saying when Duke plays NC this year, rivalries are entertianing, but the result doesn't really do much to change the probability they win the NC. When OU and TTech played this year that outcome had a massive impact correct?
It's that very distinction that makes football popular, and why college ball is generally considered the most popular league on the continent.
