Is it me or is Heineken completely bi-polar: it either tastes really good or it's got a kind of skunk musk to it.
I think it has to do with how long it's been shelved. Any time I've bought it from the beer stores in Calgary or Ontario it's been touch and go. But when I've bought it in New York or Boston it's tasted really good. Conclusion: New York and Boston are more cultured than Calgary and South-West Ontario (I kid I kid).
