The real villains in all of this are the governments that continue to allow cigarette's to be legal at all. We know what kind of harm they can do, so why not just yank them off the shelf. Oh ya...it's all the tax we collect on them...thats why they're legal...  |
Wrong. They're illegal because prohibition does not work as a deterrent and it would just create a black market that would allow gangs and their associated violence to flourish like they already do with illegal drugs. That and it would cost way too much to enforce.
