I don't know about that. It was the perfect time to try out Benitez. IIRC, they were up by 3 runs late in the game. Just a bad outcome. IMO, I wish the guy kept Litsch in to finish out the inning and pitch the next. His pitch count was only at 70. I think Litch slows down pretty badly after about 85 or so, which was probably Gibbons reasoning, but it was a bit early. As the season wears down though, Gibbons constant changing of pitchers will probably kill the bullpen arms as they're being overworked to throw 30 practice pitches in the bullpen only to use 10 in the game, every game. Doesn't sound too good. Frasor should have been left in longer though.
