Like I know Cincy is trying to show that they will not cater to Ocho's demands, and that's all well and good. But how do you turn down that offer?? IMO the Bengals made a mistake here.

I'm loving how Lewis is dealing with this. I have been a Bengals fan for years now, the really tough ones included, so maybe it's just because I am used to losing all the time, but I am almost ready to say let the little weiner sit out the rest of his damn contract rather than trade him. Not necessarily because I hate Chad, in fact I have liked him, but these crybaby atheletes are just getting annoying, and sometimes it falls on one team to sacrifice for the good of many (in all pro sports, not just NFL).
The way I look at it, what's another year of missing the playoffs if you can show these whiney punks that they arent running the show. If you dont want to play there so long, dont sign the contract. Hell, I'd even pick up his 2011 option just to piss him off a little more.
Lets be honest, Cinci isnt gonna make any noise this year with or without Chad anyway. I dont care if we lose games 38-35 or 38-21, a loss is a loss, and without any defense it doesnt matter if Chad is out there or not, this isnt a playoff team.
Now, all that being said, if I lived in Cinci and was a season ticket holder I might change my tune...luckily Im not, so I can go with this attitude.
If they make him sit, all I would hope is that other teams grow some nuts and follow suit when some ###### tries to pull this with them...otherwise it's all a waste of time.
