It was hardly a Canadian Solution, and according to Marc Lalonde, it was partially put into place as a putative solution because Alberta wouldn't fall in line with his vision of Canada.
If there was a scumbag hall of fame, Trudeau would be right up at the front, and down the hall and to the right would be Jean Chretien who continued in his mentors footsteps in terms of showing his blatant hatred of this province.
I wasn't happy when Trudeau died his policies had a direct affect on my parents, but I sure didn't shed a tear when he passed.
The Liberal's will never get a foothold in this province.
