Seriously I don't see what the big deal is, I'd show up for a beer just to meet up with some fellow CPers and talk some hockey for a couple hours if it weren't for this "one per industry rule"...what happens when you guys are being so exclusive is now you can never plan a meetup that works because half the people who had first dibs in the first page are always busy, or don't even hang around CP anymore let alone showing up at these meets.
I think this group should just be a regular CP social meetup network instead of being such a rah rah movers & shakers all business thing with a gazillion rules made up by a guy who interprets & manipulates rules for a living. (no offence troutman, just pullin' your tail
) If CPers wants to exchange a couple business cards at these meets so be it, just let the business component happen natually after a couple drinks and some small talk, and everyone can go home happy.
