The storyline involving Hiro back in Japan is a waste. The english guy is a lame attempt at comedy, and I'd rather see Hiro continue on his path to becoming the bad-ass we saw in the future. I was very impressed with Journey Man. Yes a little too much like Quantum Leap - but heck that was a good show. I thought even though the premise was old, it was executed well.

I think Hiro going back into the past has a very big influence or impact on the present day world. My guess:
1 -Past japan, Hiro meets the 1st person to ever have a special power
2 - OR, Hiro becomes the real Kenso and the stories his dad tells him are actually of Hiro.
3 - Going into the past ahs somethign to do with his family. Maybe a long family hisory of special powers since fuedal time.
