So it was Cabbie on the Street last episode on Court Surfing last night and I was wondering if anyone has heard where he's going? Someone told me ESPN but I can't picture him going there....any insight on this would be welcomed.

Why all the Cabbie hate?

Didn't even realize he was going anywhere, good for him if its somewhere big. His bits can get a little repetitive, but I like how he's able to get players to open up a little and show a side to them you usually don't see.

I believe he left of his own accord so I'd bet he has bigger plans in the works. Different network or abandon sports altogether.

Last I saw him he was doing plays of the week etc with Sid and douchie Tim.

I like him though, a character you probably like or dislike. No middle ground. I hope he stays in Canada though.

Big time loss for what used to be the best sports network in Canada.

Rumor is he is joining the CTV mothership in some sort of capacity.

I also heard a rumor he is joining NBA TV in the US. Will always miss his adventures at the silicon jungle in Calgary.

They layed off his "Man D" earlier this year for those of you who remember. Considering Cabbie came up with the guy through the ranks, that couldn't have been an easy pill to swallow.

He can do the same shtick a little to much, but he's a nice guy and finds ways to connect with athletes that a lot of other tv personalities and journalists can't.

On the Sid and Tim podcast from Tuesday, Sid dropped a few hints, saying Cabbie would be working with Ben Mulrooney and another name I didn't recognize, so I assume he's going to CTV in some capacity.

Dude I have met Cabral multiple times, and the guy is a class act. Tons of fun, extremely approachable. I asked him tons of questions about the athletes he meets and he answered all of them and just shot the shi* with me.

He's a really nice guy and by no means a loser, or an idiot.
