UFAs - the next steps

Folks,
We will open up bidding tomorrow for un-signed UFAs.

I will post the first batch which will be a mix of forwards, dmen and goalies and the full UFA list with ratings.

Remember you MUST have cap space to sign any UFAs and for all the offers you make.

You must email cphlufa@yahoo.com with the following
- Name of the player you are making an offer on
- The term offered (years - up to a max 3)
- The per year amount of the contract
- The percentage of their AHL deal (in increments of 5%)

AND
- How much cap space you have and the total amount of the offers you are making

Include ALL your offers in one email - not separate emails.

If you make a trade before the batch deadline that impacts your cap space you may re-submit OR if no longer have enough cap room you MUST re-submit.

Any offers that don't include all the required info will simply be ignored. You will not be given a 2nd chance to correct your mistake.

The player will be awarded to the team that offers the highest average contract amount. If two teams offer the same average contract amount, the player will go to the team that offers the most years, followed by AHL %. In the event that two teams offer identical contracts, the player will be awarded to the team that finished lower in the standings last season.

PS.........I put in a request to release some players from my AHL squad as I am at the max so I can send down a guy or two from my CPHL squad. If you can do that as soon as possible so I have the max cap space to sign players, that would be appreciated. Thanks.
