Thumbs up CP Photo Contest #28 - The Great Outdoors - FINAL VOTING NOW!
Hello everyone. Most of you may not be aware that we hold photo contests, as we usually get low turnouts in both submissions and voting in the contest forum. As a result, I am going to test the waters of the off-topic forum (daring, I know ).

Everyone is welcome to submit a photo and take part in the contests. To bring yourself up to speed, the rules and past winners can be found here: http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=77250

This months theme is The Great Outdoors. I am including a twist however, in an attempt to keep things fresh and get everyone active. Photos submitted must have been taken after May 15th, 2010 (meaning finalist photos must have exif data or the original can be supplied as proof). Get out there and get some new ones!

I don't know what exif data is, can I take a photo with my phone (iphone) and enter the contest?

You bet, as long as it's past the date.

Exif data is data embedded in a photo file (even cell phone pics) that usually at minimum include the type of camera used and the date/time the photo was taken.

No fair on the rules. It's been raining here for the last month (actually the last 6 months), and it's been a bit of a challenge to get out and shoot pics. I did nab this spring azure during a brief bit of sun last weekend.

Abby at sunset a few days ago . . . . . two weeks ago she ate two (2) six foot long leather leashes and had to have (very) expensive surgery to remove the debris, hence the shirt to prevent her from irritating her stitches. Yesterday was the first day the pain behind the eyes had been replaced by the more customary mischief.
