Printer problem caused by older version of Adobe Reader?

I'm having printer problems. Does having an older version of Adobe Reader possibly interfere with printing? I print through another compute as server. Does the server computer also have to have Reader 9.3 for me to be able to print?

No.

Edit: but you shouldn't be running old versions of Adobe Reader. They are vulnerable to code execution exploits in malformed PDF's.

Ha, no idea what that means but okay, I'll install the new version or Reader. Thanks.

The only issue would be if somehow the computer that yo print through updated its PS drivers and now your version of Adobe will not print to it using those post script drivers.
