Default Stay classy WRA/WAP

The first example of the WRA shooting themselves in the foot? Can't wait until they start nominating candidates for the next election. Could be entertaining.

It was a lapse in judgment

Why is this stuff news? I did not even see it as very offensive. Childish sure, but it is not like he was letting his KKK colours show by typing 'dat' instead of 'that'.

Is this really a case of the WAP needing to stay classy? An obviously unauthorized "tweet" from a party strategist is hardly indicative of the entire party needing to "stay classy".

It was pretty amateur. I don't think it's a big deal, but it shows that they have riff-raff just like the rest of the parties.

Meh not that big of a deal. If anything it's amusing, something sorely lacking in politics.

Lol. So now you're defending PCs against the WRA? Just doing anything you can to bring negative attention to any right wing party, eh? Keep trying, longsuffering. The WRA will be in power long before the Libs or the NDP.

Sorry, I don't see where I was defending anyone. Could you point that out to me? I guess I'm just and overly sensitive individual because I find the mocking of Stelmach's speech patterns by a fairly senior strategist of the WRA to be more than a little childish. But, that's politics I suppose.

It may come as a surprise to you, but I'm willing to give Danielle Smith a chance. Hell, if I had to guess, I'd guess Ms. Smith's not very happy with Mr. Carter's 'tweet' herself.

One thing I will say is that the leader does not a Party make. It will be very interesting to see the type and quality of candidates that challenge for WRA nominations in each riding. The history of the Reform Party shows that fielding quality candidates, especially for a new Party, can be a real challenge. I doubt that we've seen the end of controversial positions being taken by WRA/WAP candidates.

Sorry. Guess I should have said "reveling in the potential negative publicity any right wing party brings upon itself, especially if it's at the expense of another right winged party".
Gotcha, longsuffering. Now you're "giving Danielle Smith a chance".

I'm not going to get into it with you 4X4 but if you'd take a look, you'd find that I've not said a bad word against Ms. Smith - ever. In fact, I think I said she was the best and maybe only hope for the Party.

Do I support the Right? Not any of the current choices, but it hasn't always been that way.

Whatever, man. I'm making fun of your penchant for reveling in any negative publicity any right wing party gets. I think it's funny. I think it's ridiculous. You're like HOZ, except that you're left wing.

Quite the disingenuous statement given one strategist obviously makes a party in your view.

She's playin' it safe. If she pulls a Carter, she'll have to deal with the wrath of Jane...

I'm not sure which is dumber though - that Carter would make such a stupid tweet, or that the PCs would try to turn it into a cultural slur.

Exactly. I thought of a few witty remarks but the boss likes to creep this site so I'll keep my yap shut.

I think you're being overly sensitive. If you read my post again you'll see that I wrote I believed your Party's leader wouldn't condone or support this type of thing.
