The Offical Halloween 2009 Thread
Am I too early for this thread? Probably but oh well. Here it is guys and gals a place to discuss your costume ideas, brain storm etc. I think if you're thinking of making your own now is a good time to start putting a plan into action.
So that being said, does anyone have an idea where I can find a loud sequenced shirt like Neil's?
Diamonds are forever! I waannnna party with yooooou!

I would check out a costume shop first and foremost. Sometimes you can also find some stuff like that at Value Village. There was one costume shop on 16th by Peter's a few years ago IIRC, but kind of small and down in a basement kinda thing.
I've been on my girlfriend to help me come up with some ideas for Halloween. We went as a pregnant wife, and the milkman. Pretty good stuff. 50's style to the max.
The year before I pulled off my first zombie costume. Loved it.

Scuba Steve is what I'm going as. My friend has a vintage full wet suit, so its got some pretty interesting colours. Also got the flip flops and goggles to go with it.
Halloween is the only time I'll ever do those "club crawls", its quite a bit of fun and its probably the only time I've got the brass to approach girls.

I've been this for the past 2 years (but I'm a girl, not a boy like in the picture )
Best place for retro clothing is Cat's eye across the road from Value village off Macleod.

Just break into your neighbour's house and steal his wolf shirt and go as an Edmontonian.

I know it's been done before but I just ordered a "Waldo" costume off eBay and plan in going in the background of a lot of pictures...

I'm on the lookout for a Kate Gosselin "reverse-mullet" wig. I found one website that sells them and they were already sold out a month ago!!!

The GF suggested we do something "together"
So I suggested she paint all her teeth black, make her fingers look like stubs, wear a push up bra and I'd wear a pop up collar and dye my hair a bit brown.
She thought it was terribly offensive.

I'm not coming back to this thread until the 2nd page because I hate it when large photos screw up the margins.

I still wanna go as Guy Fawkes, but I can't find a mask anywhere. So a store in Edmonton that sold 'em would be fantastic. cough.
