OT: Hockey Pool anyone?! Fundraiser for the Kiddies and GM Battle Royal!

Hi all,

Well I am posting this on here on the advice from some current CPHL GM's. I am doing a hockey pool as a fundraiser for the boys basketball team here in Chesterfield Inlet, NU. The school here doens't exactly have a ton of money so I try and come up with ideas to raise money for these kids.

Goffie and Hesla have currently filled out forms and Hesla suggested that I get other GM's involved to battle it out. Believe it or not, Goffie won the pool last year.

This year the entry fee is $20 and 1st place will net you about $500. This could go up or down depending on how many people I can get.

So if you want to have some fun this season and challenge other GM's, please post your e-mail and I will send you the form. It's EASY!

NOTE: All teams will be uploaded to www.officepools.com and you can follow how you are doing all year long, with updates every day!

My life has become so pathetic that my current options are collect unemployment....or move back to Edmonton.

Do we just pick 1 set of players and that is our team for the year? I don't have much time but maybe could join something like this if I can sign up after Sept 18.

Yes, you pick one player from each group and that is your team for the year. Injuries obviously play a big factor each year and Gaborik seems to screw me out of first every time.

The deadline is Sept. 30.
