Default Canucks call Blues pussies; Kesler taunts Backes about his wife

Don't know if this was posted:

Kelly is Backes wife.

Pretty funny

Anyone else think about Ari Gold vs Adam Davis, that's the mother of my children rant?

Meh, this kind of stuff probably happens all the time.

Still hate Burrows and Kesler with a passion, this does nothing to change my mind about that.

It would be interesting to hear the kinds of things said between benches in a game, I'm sure Pierre McGuire and Ray Ferraro would have plenty of stories based on the 1-up, 1-down brodcast method TSN employs.

As much as I'd like to rail against them for being a bunch of classless, whining divers, which is nothing new by the way, they still are, this is the playoffs and I know Vancouver is probably just excited to be here.

Its the playoffs, no kid gloves, but from what I saw, it was the Canucks being pussies, diving all over the ice to draw penalties.

I don't know about anyone else, but if some dude I was playing against in a sport started saying crap about my girlfriend or wife, that'd drive me to the brink of destroying their entire team. I am not sure that kind of trash talk does anything but give the other team fuel for the fire... And I did my fair share of trash talking before, especially in baseball.

Kesler has never been with a woman (unless we count Burrows), so I can understand his confusion.

You can see just how clever he is by the fact he has to default to insult via wife... Not the sharpest knife in the drawer...

You'd think by the time you get to the NHL you'd have a few witty comebacks... :/

Best comeback for Backes would be a series win!

Like when Barnaby called Lyle Odelein "Cornelius". That would be a fitting moniker for Mitchell too.

Calling Mitchell Captain Corelli would be funny, to me.

You might have to explain this one to the younger generation, and me.

Is it a Planet of the Apes reference?

Few things not surprising about that video. Ryan Johnson sneaking up on someone and chock hold tackling from behind, Kesler and Burrows being pretty tough guys from the bench.

Obviously the most appropriate response would have been "Tell Andrea I said hi."

Lame Kesler, lame.
