Default Harassing phone calls from phone # 804-518-2490

Did some research after I told these people to stop FU$%*&# calling me and the guy on the other end said, " FU$% you man, I will harass you every day now", "I am also going to pass your # to all companies". After he said this I did some research and actually found the companies 800 number and how to contact them.

I called them and they were just as rude, saying that they would never call me again.....

The point is, I now have their number and can contact and harass them as much as I want ! ! ! !

Here is their # if you want to complain to them and/or harass them after they continue to call.

I have also filed a complaint with the CDN do not call list and they are investigating the # that comes up on our call displays.

SOME PROGRESS!!!! I called 1-888-878-1014 which is world class services. They claim to be a consultant in financial distress. For starters I decided to leave a couple really long messages on their answering machine at extension 5047. Then I decided that wasn't enough for me considering the length of time they had been calling us. So, I called back. I told their secretary how annoying it was to be called 3 times a day at all times of the day, then hung up. Then i called back again, mentioned how annoying it was to hear from telemarketers then hung up. Then I called back again asked her if it was annoying yet, then hung up. I called back again....(

hmm, that number looks familiar, after doing a search thru my call log I have that number saved in my contact list as Annoying so I know its them and wont answer, or if i'm in a bad mood I can pick up and yell at them, or do the random keypad mash to assult their ears.

It's far easier to block individual numbers on Shaw home phone.

How do you block numbers? This would be helpful.

Heh..

I was getting incessant calls to my voice line from a fax machine for a few days starting at 6 am when I found that I could block a number.

Thank you Shaw!

Checked this number from my caller id list and found that they did call my number. Fortunately, I don't answer any number whose number I don't recognize and I did subscribe to the Do Not Call list Canada but what I don't understand is why these telemarketers are still calling my number.

What I don't get is why Telus (and others) who we pay to provide us with phone service, get away with allowing this to happen. How can Shaw provide a solution and Telus or Rogers can't? Aren't we paying good money for home phone service?

I've started receiving the same general type of BS calls on my cell phone. Not many (I can count them on one hand) but there is NO WAY I will accept that.

We're growing too used to half-arsed service these days.

i get calls all the time, and i am on the "do not call list". the list is total BS.

like most of you, i do not pick up when i do not recognize the number. i use google to look up the number. if you google it, the search will take you to some sites with all kinds of telemarketer numbers. there you can 'report' the number and see what/where the number is from.

your number got this result

I'm pretty sure you can call your cell or home phone provider, tell them the number that keeps calling you and they will block that number for you.

If you really want to harass them in the same way they harass you, find a way to setup a robot caller

This is odd. You're pissed at them for wasting your valuable time. So to get back at them...............you waste more of your valuable time???

I don't get it
