Default FurnaceFace's Great Give Away for Cancer

Ok, here's the deal. I have lots of stuff I no longer want/need. I've also signed up for a head shave event in June so I thought I'd combine the two into one.

To get any of these wonderful products all I ask for is a donation to The Cancer Society. Either hand me cash when you pick your treasures up or submit through my donation page. Donations over $20 get a tax receipt.

Unless noted any of the electronic gear works to the best of my knowledge, however all items come with the standard As Is disclaimer.

Computer Stuff:
Multi port 10 baseT rackable hub. It's a 7U hub with only 2 of the blades in place. Good for LAN parties or home based network.

Lite On DVD burner

3 NICs, I believe they are all 10s (they'd go perfectly with the hub!)

2 MS Serial Mice, 1 IBM PS/2 Mouse

IBM black keyboard and white Centro, Both PS/2.

Colorado T1000e Tape backup unit and 3 tapes

Ancient Diamond Stealth video card from 1995

A box full of 3.5" floppy disks. No idea what's on them, you might get lucky and fine something interesting...or just use them in place of clay pigeons.

Box of cables. Variety of CAT5 cables. Some have RJ45 ends, some not. A ribbon cable or two, power cables, a couple of monitor cables. Also a few other serial cables and such for the hobbiest.

Power Supply. I'm pretty sure this is dead, but the cables are fine if someone needs a few Molex connectors.

Tigger and Pooh mouse pad for the kid in all of us or just for your kid.

Electronics:

Original Sony Walkman Sport with matching headphones. Be the retro envy of everyone at school. I even have a box of tapes I can hand to you as well.

Portable Speakers which run on 4 D cells or AC. Good for camping. I believe the adapter is missing.

Music:

I have duplicates of both of these

RUSH - Chronicles double disc
Killjoys - Gimme Five

Textbooks:

None of these are current, they are early 90s editions however could be
used for supplemental learning, reference, or general knowledge.

New Stuff:
Mylex particle board desk like you get at SprawlMart, Zeller's etc. Desk has a lower shelf in it. Good basic desk.

Great that you're doing this!

You sound like a lawyer judging by the textbooks.

Business Degree and Computer Science Certificate. My average suffered as I couldn't take any of the "basket weaving" courses to boost it, but it gave me a good base.

The last few political books were for a Poli Sci class or a couple of the more public admin classes I took...from what I recall a couple of them were really interesting.

I've added a desk, see above for description.

I'll post something tonight. I'm just west of downtown off Bow Trail.

The desk can easily be taken apart for transportation.

Here's the desk. The dust on the shelf is a special feature.

I also have a Ricoh film SLR which I might add to the list. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM.

Thanks, it's a lot of fun for anyone who might be interested in getting a nice close summer cut.

I believe the donation page is CC only. The Cancer Society hasn't gotten with the times yet.

I've got a paypal account if that's your preferred method.
