Going to Manila, what to do?

Since I was given such great advise on my last trip to Vienna from CP, hope some people can give me some ideas for Manila. I will only have one full day there. Anything that I should do?

Go out to the Volcano,Mount Mayo. My father have friends there and they took me around. It was a blast!!! Very beautiful as well.

Are you a drug mule? These one day trips halfway around the world are rather suspious.

1 day? Geez. Not much time at all.

I liked the island of Corregidor. This island was key in the battle with the Japanese and the Philippines / US. Pretty neat to see. I would recommend that, but that would take a full day.

You may also be interested in checking out Fort Santiago, and the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial.

For shopping, I thought Green Hills market was pretty good. Cheap too. Lots of knock offs and replicas.

No, I am not a drug mule. As you can see from some of my previous posts I do not condone that type of behavior.
