Best/Funniest thread you've ever read
This is my nomination. I read it a few years back but it still sticks in my mind as one of the funniest stories I've ever read.
The short synopsis of the story is that some guys go 4 wheeling in Alaska and on the way back, they get into trouble, and it just goes from bad to worse... Funny as hell. Post #1 and #12 are the main parts of the story.

Some of what happened was even caught on video

Ugh. That wasn't funny. Friggin nightmare. I did something similar a few years ago with my Ranger out at Waiporous. I was still a total rookie at 4x4ing and after getting stuck once and getting pulled out by a nice guy, my foot slipped off the brake and I smashed into his truck.
Then, a few hours later I got my truck stuck in a thick puddle that was deeper than the clearance of my truck so mud started to seep in. Eventually, I had about 3" of muddy water inside my truck. Ruined my amp and some 6x9s.
I tried and tried to get unstuck, but all I did was cram my clutch full of mud to the point that it wouldn't engage. I thought I fried it, but after taking it out, all I had to do was clean out the compressor thingy that I don't know the name of. And that took place at U-Wrench in Calgary. I had to get towed out to the highway by another kind soul and then call a tow truck to get it taken to U-Wrench. That turned out to be a long, expensive and generally crappy weekend.

Nope. Just a body lift, 31s, and a lack of common sense.

3" BL and 31's is what I'm doing to my Ranger.
I hate being a copy-cat.
But I will have a winch.

Hey... that kind of thing happens all the time.... well not the part about smashing into the poor unlucky good samaritan's truck.... but other parts are pretty common place.
I know what happened to the kids in the Alaska story was terrible... but when you look back at it and read the story about one disaster after another, I couldn't help but start laughing. I could so see myself in his story!

A winch is one of the best things you can buy for your truck. I've got one on mine. T-Max 9000.

Locally, I'd say the "How Many Five Year Olds" or the LOLCats threads were pretty good.
Tried to search and got bored.

Agreed. I suppose the hilarity lies in the fact that he was playing it safe all day and bad stuff just kept happening. Whereas with me, I tend to get stupider and stupider until I've gotten myself stuck.
I think you're right, Trad. I'm winching up this year. Gonna get a good bush guard and a nice winch for my new beast. Of course, that'll probably result in me finding newer, better ways of getting super-stuck.

Funniest, for threads I didn't expect it to turn funny was when MrMasterdonFarm wouldn't accept his fata and just kept posting away on his fata thread.

The original thread where the following posers where mocked relentlessly. I can't remember where it was but if I could remember I'd probably go back and reread it.
And Lobster Claw Car Thief was pretty good too!

The Oilers Are Blessed With 4 Solid Young Players...
It is great to see all of Stoll, Hemsky, Torres, and Bergeron flourishing this season. In time with the potential additions of Schremp, Pouliot, Cogliano, Jacques, and Dubnyk this could be a great team!!! And by the time those guys are ready to shoulder a big load, these 4 will be leading the way as the wily veterans!!!

The one where the dude asks the forum to photoshop some white dots out of a photo of him and his dad. It's behind Russic's avatar.
