Default Newegg is now in Canada. What a letdown.

I've been waiting years for them to ship here and what a let down. Bought plenty of electronics stuff from them over the years with my US postal box.

Prices are pretty high and they ship from the US and they are only using UPS as their carrier! Your total pricing after you receive your product will be ridiculous.

I was looking for a new shaver and found this on their site. Some of the funniest safe-for-work reviews ever.

Yeah, not cool. I just compared an EVGA 280 GTX 1gb video card.

Memory Express - $460
Newegg - $466 + $15 Shipping.

And, Memory Express isn't even the cheapest, usually.

They seem to include the brokerage fees and stuff so at least there won't be a surprise, but their shipping prices are BRUTAL.

So much for some competition, oh well.

Yeah I was signed up on their 'beta' and first thing I did was search for three different items I was wanting to by on NCIX.com. Came to 12% higher in the end and at $500, 12% is a chunk. Supposedly better customer service isn't worth that much for me

That's too bad because I was really looking forward to their Canadian site opening.

Even just looking on there they don't have a lot of the stuff they have on their US site, I have been looking around to get a slingbox, guess I will have it shipped to a friend in the states than he will ship to me.

The Hitachi magic wand--I saw it on American Apparel's website 8 months ago. Dunno if it's still there.

Their prices should drop as they are cutting away alot of middle-man costs compared to Memory Express. Odd.

wow that's pretty brutal. Are they just going to go on their name and reputation? NCIX can keep my business. Their shipping is fast and reasonable, and their prices are decent.

They are the cheapest in calgary. Whatever happened to OEM depot and their 10 products? hehe

NCIX is pretty good but you have to pay for shipping. Alot of the stores in Vancouver and Toronto are cheaper but you have to wait for them to have free shipping promos. www.atic.ca prob has the best prices in canada.
