My initial reaction is to say no- this is a hockey forum first, a general sports forum second. The Buy and Sell is such a minor part of CP.

Have you seen such a system in use on other forums whose main purpose is something very different than buying and selling? I ask because I would like to see an example of it being in use.

http://www.heatware.com/ and eBay both do these things, don't want to duplicate what other things have done.

Well i just think it would be a positive thing, i have had great transactions with people and would like to let people know not to hesitate dealing with someone like that. On the other hand if i had a bad experience, lets say for example i had a bad experience buying tickets from someone, i would like to give people the heads up

I guess i see where your coming from too Ken!!! I just thought it might help, but i guess its not really a big deal !

I don't know about a separate forum, but possibly something like a GM ranking. Not neccessarily shown like skill ranking is, but if maybe you could see their GM ranking if you clicked on their user name.

This is something that I thought of before when I had a negative experience from dealing with someone here on CP.
I would more so say it isn't necessary because I have dealt with many ppl here on CP, and have only had 1 bad exp.
I would also say that if there was rankings, it could lead ppl to sell tickets to the highest ranking user instead of first come first serve which is what is usually used.

Unfortunately it's one of those time vs. reward things, for the amount of time it would take to setup and administrate, there's a dozen other things I'd rather put my time into on the board that will have a much bigger payoff for more people.

I still suggest people use heatware, it's used by many other buy/sell/trade forums and works well.
