Default Songs by your favourite bands that you can't stand.

The "Great" bands thread got me thinking.

There are bands that you love, but they have a few songs you absolutely hate.

For me:

Stone Temple Pilots - Lady Picture Show.
Foo Fighters - Big Me.

I wish they had never wasted the tape recording those.

I'd have those two on my list as well, Bobblehead.

Moneytalks - AC/DC

Anything post-1999 Greenday. 1994 Greenday (the Dookie era) was absolutely SOLID.

Anything by the Offspring after and including "Pretty Fly for a White Guy."

Oh yeah, any and every song by GWAR, but I absolutely love the band themselves haha...

"Rock n Roll" and the "immigrant song" by LEd Zep. Both great songs but most north american radio stations forget that zep has any other songs.

Rush - Roll The Bones - Rush doing a rap - ugh. Actually, I don't like most stuff they have done since Grace Under Pressure.

REM - Shiny Happy People, Stand - many fans hate these songs, but I don't mind them

Queen - almost the entire Hot Space record sucks - Queen goes funky

Bruce Springsteen - Dancing In The Dark - the Boss goes disco

Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven, Layla (acoustic)

OLP - Starseed, In Repair
Linkin Park (Yes, I saw that other thread) - Their latest single... too slow for LP... and no Mike Chioda makes any Linkin Park song less valuable to me.
Barenaked Ladies - Any of the songs that try to copy the "One Week" recipie... "Another Postcard" and whatever that latest one is. I would have said anything after, and including "One Week", but I like "Call & Answer" and "Pinch Me".

I'm listening to my iPod more, so I'm not as in to the newer music lately.

These threads are funny. Watch out for the next one: lines or stanzas that you can't stand in songs you really love.

Pretty (Ugly Before) - Elliott Smith
His producer crapped all over that one.

Three More Days - Ray Lamontagne
Even Medeski couldn't save this one from craptitude.

Sober - Tool
Boring.

Karma Police - Radiohead
It's "that popular song" from the band people aren't supposed to like. Y'know?

Mr. Jones - Counting Crows
I love the album this song is from but I STILL hear this song 3 times a week and it's like 15 years old. I don't watch TV or listen to the radio. How is this possible?

Pink Floyd - anything from the Final Cut, pure rubbish and should never have been done under the Floyds name

Mine is: Dont Wanna Miss a Thing by Aerosmith. In fact, anything by them since has been subpar.
