Default Spitzer...linked to hooker ring

A tiny bit of cheer in an otherwise brutal stock and bond market. Couldn't have happened to a bigger ego:

According to CNN the guy was a customer and not a part of the enterprise, as "linked to " implies (at least to me).

Still bad of course but not what I thought.

I don't have any moral indignation about a guy paying a woman a thousand bucks or more for an hour of sex. They are adults, they know what they are doing. But really, how horny is this guy? He's got a wife and three kids at home and he's out banging hookers? Rent a porno or something buddy. Practice some self love. Do something else.

He's pretty much ruined his own life and I would guess half-killed his wife and totally burned his own children all so he can get laid. Who needs it that badly?

Nice, you effectively combined politics and business.

Full marks for you.

The club's Web site displays photographs of scantily clad women with their faces hidden.
It also shows hourly rates depending on whether the prostitutes were rated with one diamond, the lowest ranking, or seven diamonds, the highest.

Forget red and blue squares - how much more interesting would CP be if we adopted this system of "ranking" and it's criteria?

How does e1 to e5 sound?

On an more interesting note, I gotta add, this thread is useless without pics.

What if we're not attractive enough that the mods want to sleep with us to give us the correct ranking?

Y'know, hypothetically speaking.

It's almost come to the point where the more someone rants against corruption and the lack of morals and ethics, the more likely he is to be caught with his pants down. The guy's whole campaign election strategy was about "cleaning up Albany". Eliciting a prostitute is more of a private matter rathern then political, but geez you'd think we know that this could ruin his career.

I give spitzer full marks for weeding out the bad weeds. Problem i have with the guy is that his motivation, IMO and many others' opinions, was not to clean up wall street but rather to gain publicity and a name that would get him elected. His purge went beyond bad weeds. He happened to make some powerful enemies along the way to his chagrin. He had to know this was coming if he so much as did anything off the straight and true.

The press conference showed him standing with what looked like his wife.....i haven't the foggiest how he got her to stand up there with him.

Maybe he told her he'd "look for love somewhere else" if she didn't stand up there with him.

Oh, come on now, this is just ridiculous.

If everyone who was associated with prostitution rings was thrown in jail, who would be left? Who I ask you? Who?

Based on the Hookers and/or Blow thread, not all CP members would be around.

Well . . . . . me.

And I've even stayed in a suite at the Mayflower Hotel in New York (a cousin to the one in Washington?).

I think Spitzer paid $100 for sex and $4,200 for anonymity. The $100 was probably an okay deal but he got hosed on the $4,200.

I love that CBC radio describe the hooker he was caught with as a "petite brunette". I only wished they'd added "with a big rack" or compared her in some way to the wife. Ahh well, can't have everything.
