I decided to lay off a bit and bought a Coke at the concession for the first period instead of a heroin beer. Fortunately at the first intermission I wised up. Apparently this turned the entire game around. Mmmm, beer.

I'll take some blame for the bad start as well. I didn't listen to the game until the second period. As soon as I turned on the radio the Flames scored to make it 3-1.

Yup, I was at a pub in Banff that was showing the Vancouver game first When that game was over, I made sure they tuned into the Flames game, which was 3-0 at the time. The rest is history...
