Default Man only gets 33 months for killing girlfriend.

Killing his girlfriend while driving a stolen truck and then fleeing the scene as she lay dying in a ditch has landed a former city man a 33-month prison term.

Darr, 22, was convicted in May on charges of dangerous driving causing death, hit and run, possession of a stolen vehicle and breaching probation.

This is the crap that I am sick of with our Justice system. You know what....it is not even a Justice system it is a court system...there is no justice in many cases. This guy is going to be out in just over a year....a fricken year....he steals a car, kills his girlfriend and leaves her on the side of the road to die and the guy gets 33 months. Absolutly sick....

Even more pathetic than that guy Goodstoney that was in a stolen truck, impaired, and killed 4 young people in another car. IIRC, he got 7 years less time served in remand and ended up slated for a 4 year stint.
Kinda makes me think that Robert Latimer would have been better off killing Tracy drunk and in a stolen truck instead of with CO2. He got 10 years.

Good point. Our system is really a joke and nothing more.

This is a court of law, young man, not a court of justice. ~Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.

Just some more fruit for thought for those who thinks it's their God-given right to proceed when they walk across that crosswalk without paying attention...
