I know Heath Ledger was in Fort MacLeod this summer filming a movie about gay Shepherds from New Zealand (no joke). So make that list 181. :P
Legends of the Fall was originally supposed to be filmed in Winnipeg, but the city wouldn't let them temporarily remove some street trees, so they packed up and left.

My favorite one from the list.
A revival of the 1993-1994 series about a crime fighter in a morphing Dodge Viper which converts to a super equipped vehicle known as the Defender used to turn the odds around against a super crime organization. The main character (driver of the Defender) is now Thomas Cole.
A crime fighting Dodge Viper?

Oops, I thought the original post was Alberta in general. Make that Calgary: 180, and Ft. MacLeod: 1. B)
I noticed that the Flames Girls Gone Wild videos are not mentioned either.

They made the making of rat race here? huh?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0345615/
edit: upon further investigation into this important matter that is delaying the completion of my lab report, I have determined that the coin toss scene was filmed before a stampeders game... and that's it. Talk about an expensive shot, to go from vegas to here and back for one scene.
edit #2: After even futher investigation, I found out I was wrong. They shot here for 6 weeks, and the movie took 14 weeks total to shoot.

Ah, I see. I scanned all the 2004's. I didn't think that the date would be 2005.
A girl I know was an extra. She told me that it had something to do with New Zealand - guess she was wrong.

I love this:
Trivia: During the filming of the Fourth of July scenes in Fort Macleod the crew would get the extras pumped up by telling them to act like the Calgary Flames had just won the Stanley Cup.
EDIT: Kinda hurts now that i've read it a few times...

Act like it? I thought we won it?
Another tidbit.... Ang Lee became a Flames fan because of the emotion that was observed throughout calgary.

Well, Unforgiven is one of the best movies ever.
Also, the X-men movies aren't listed, I know they filmed just outside of Calgary.

I was riding on the bike pathways one day and stopped to watch them filming a scene with that magic viper and a van on the 14th street bridge . . . . . some years ago.

I think alot of movies filmed in the Calgary area didn't make the list, hockey movie Mystery Alaska starring Russel Crowe being one of them. It was filmed in Canmore I believe.

Stingray.
Ray is a shadowy character with a mysterious 'secret agent' past. People in trouble often come to him for help, since he has a lot of important and powerful contacts. He refuses to be paid for his services; however, those seeking his assistance must promise him a favor. Some time in the future, Ray will come to them and ask to collect on that favor, giving them some task that is often arduous and/or dangerous. The title of the show comes from the vintage Corvette Stingray that Ray drives.
Atomic Dog.
A homeless dog is accidentally locked in a nuclear reactor during a meltdown, turning him into Atomic Dog. When the beast threatens the local town, a teenage boy tries to befriend the animal and save him from the crazed townfolk.
