Partymusic
Thought I´d put together the ultimate partymusic downloading a LOT of mp3:s, and then copy them to a dvd... Fixed about half, and now I´m running dry on inspiration... need tips... Don´t want the outplayed classics (raining men, excited a.s.o...), but still want music that get people of their feet...
Suggestions?

Anything by the Beach Boys. Why? Because it is a physical impossibility not to smile when you hear a Beach Boys song.

Its all about the 80s man. Its alllll about the 80s.
Some suggestions:
- Let the Music Play - Shannon
- Let's go Crazy - Prince
- Anything by MJ - do something a little unexpected though...like Say Say Say
- Living on Video - Trans X
- Crash - The Primitive
- 867-5309 Jenny - Tommy Tutone
- One Night in Bangcock - Can't remember who sings thise one
- Its my Life - Talk Talk
- Our House - Madness
And bust out some 70s stuff too:
- Anything by Blondie
- Boney M - Rasputin is the popuarl choice but go with something different like Daddy Cool or Ma Baker
- Tragegy - The Beejes
- Groove Tonight - EWF
Retro man. Think retro.

Whenever I think of Party Music, I am always reminded of "Sandstorm". I hate the song, but not sure, you might like it.

I agree.
Hey Jiri - sounds ike you must have a good 80's collection. I cannot find "Black on White" by One2One. Any idea where to look?
(One night in Bankok was written by Bjorn & Benny from ABBA)

I do indeed have a pretty huge 80s collection acquired mainly from used CD shops like Recordland and Tramps and online.
However, I've never been able to find One2One on CD...I don't any of their albumns are available anymore. Which is too bad because Black on White is just one of a few great songs they had in the late 80s. Hold me Now is another good one.
That being said, you can look online and find most of their songs available for download. Well worth the effort.

I've seen it a couple times, but could never get it down. "Angel in my Pocket" I have on a mix cassette somewhere.
You should set up a CP Retro 80's webcast. I'd be all over that.

He asked for songs that make you dance, that one gets me moving. Furthermore, I will not apologize for liking cheesy music.
