an annual award given to the goalkeeper adjudged to be the best at this position as voted by the general managers of all CPHL clubs.

Lanny McDonald Award
an annual award given to the player judged to be the most valuable to his team as voted by the general managers of all CPHL clubs.
Winner - Craig Conroy of the Atlanta Thrashers - 95 pts
2nd place - Martin Brodeur of the Oilers with 93 pts
3rd place - Radek Dvorak of the Canucks with 89 points



Sergei Makarov Award
an annual award given to the player selected as the most proficient in his first year of competition in the CPHL as voted by the general managers of all CPHL clubs.
Winner - Eric Staal of the St Louis Blues - 105 pts
2nd place - Eric Fehr of the Flyers with 88 pts
3rd place - Sidney Crosby of the Blues with 87 pts.




Dwayne Hay Award
an annual award given to the player selected as the least effective player in the CPHL as voted by the general managers of all CPHL clubs.
Winner - Ed Belfour of the Pittsburgh Penguins - 97 pts
2nd place - Brian Gionta of the Kings with 95 pts
3rd place - Brad Isbister of the Canucks with 92 pts.




Roman Turek Award
an annual award given to the player selected as the most overpaid player in the CPHL as voted by the general managers of all CPHL clubs.
Winner - Peter Bondra of the Atlanta Thrashers - 100 pts
2nd place - Tony Amonte of the Senators with 95 pts
3rd place - Nik Antropov of the Lightning with 92 pts.




Doug Risebrough Award
an annual award given to the GM selected as the GM who made the worst deal(s) as voted by the general managers of all CPHL clubs.
Winner - Philadelphia Flyers for the Marion Gaborik deal in a landslide.

I think the criteria MUST be having been a GM for more than half a season....in other words a minimum of 43 games. How do you know that though? You dont and neither do we. I would assume you have a good idea who they might be and we wont dibble with your selection...unless you have absolutley forgot...then we will give you a gentle nudge via email.

Heres my idea of new GMs that fit the criteria..

Ducks GM, Colorado GM?, Edmonton GM, LA GM, Preds GM, Sharks GM, Leafs GM, Caps GM.

Let me know if Ive screwed this up and missed someone or or put someone on inadvertently.
