Think I'm going Parsons over Valimaki first. I'm unbelievably high on him after last season.

Will be interesting to see this year's results. There are no slam dunks this year. Will the top prospect be Jankowski? Parsons? Or the shiny new toy?

Janko. Every other prospect is a wild card - Janko is the ace in the hole.

Hmm I kinda forgot about Jankowski.
This is where the debate arrives over what top prospect means. I think Parsons has a higher ceiling than Jankowski. Tough call between those 2 and Valimaki now...

I know I shouldn't be so hype about a goalie but I think Tyler Parsons is the real deal. Almost eliminated the eventual Memorial Cup Champions by himself in the 2nd round.

List order hurts my brain.
After 5 long years waiting, this is finally the year for Janko Unchained.

I went with Fox. I think he has the highest upside, and he's the prospect i'm most excited about

No Foo?
Wasn't going to be my first choice, but definitely top three or four for me.

I'm gunshy about having a goalie at or near the top. They're just so unpredictable. Parsons is clearly the top goalie prospect, but it'll take a few rounds for him to beat out forwards and defensemen.
Jankowski for me this round. Fox, Andersson, Valimaki, Kylington, Foo all tough for me to sort through after.

Jankowski has by far the highest floor given his steady progression through NCAA and AHL.
Parsons and Fox probably have higher ceilings, but I think in this case higher floor trumps ceiling, when you consider that those two are a few years out yet and have more 'set back' potential in that time window. Janks is as close to a sure thing future NHLer as you can get with how well he has been groomed and allowed to ripen. He also has the skillset to have a chance at being an impact centre. And that's arguably the most important role in hockey outside of G. Therefore, Jankowski is my pick.

Juuso for me. I like Parsons but goalies are too difficult to judge. Jankowski is promising but needs a big step forward before he becomes waiver eligible.

Jankowski for me.
But I do think Foo should be on the list too, or is he not considered a prospect?
