Default Anyone seen pumpkins for sale today?

Last minute a few of us wanted to carve some pumpkins but every store seems sold out.

Anyone been out today and seen some? Preferably SW, but can travel to find.

Thanks

Last night Coop on 45th and Richmond had three GIANT displays full of em. I cannot imagine how they've sold out between then and now.

Pumpkins in October are like extension cords in January. They are everywhere for the taking.

I usually just drive around until I see a jack-o-lantern carved to my satisfaction...

Saw some at sunterra signal hill on Thursday am. They ranged from $33- $51. I couldn't believe it. I wished I had asked why they were so expensive

They were probably Farm-Fresh, Certified Carbon Neutral, Ecologically Friendly, Guaranteed No-Dolphin, Seedless, Non-GMO, Halal Pumpkins.

That would explain it. I wouldnt go near anything less.

I was grocery shopping this morning and chatting with the cashier, she mentioned that she was working the customer service desk earlier and every few minutes there would be a call about pumpkins. Sounds like theres a shortage.

I just got back from Safeway and Walmart at Westbrook mall area and they were sold out yesterday. Was it the rain we got this year that created the shortage, or just poor planning by a bunch of young dodos?

Maybe if some families didn't buy 5 or 6 pumpkins there would be some left for the rest of us?

Why doesn't the supply meet the demand?

What other gourds can be carved?

16 replies and no one's suggested visiting the Pumpkin Complex on third? Over in the Pumpkin District?

You disappoint me CP.
