Great game so far. Fast & intense, 1-1 half way through the first.

I'm at a McDonalds deep in the American south, and there's a hockey game on TV.

I wasn't expecting that.

And it's a damn good game. These teams are packing serious firepower

Man that Panarin.

It's like Chicago got mad because another NHL team got themselves a "Kane-like" player so they said F it and went out and snagged another one so that they'd have two.

He's so smooth, and quick and skilled.

Great creativity by Teraveinen to set up Toews for the 2-1 PP goal...a lot of guys just fire that puck from there.

Nasty elbow from Toews. Might have been sort of accidental.

Washington can feel hard done by, the 3rd Chicago goal was probably an icing against them that wasn't called.

I don't think Toews even realized that the Cap guy was there...

Cap guy slowed down to interfere with Panik trying to beat icing...icing waived...Panik kicked the puck to slot...Rasmussen scores...3-1 'Hawks...Caps pissed about no icing.

I dont think he meant to elbow Johansson in the head, probably just trying to get position. Happens in soccer often.

Final score on NBC

3 at 4

http://scores.nbcsports.com/nhl/recap.asp?g=2016022804

This could be the Stanley Cup Final and as some of you already posted, it was a great game.
