PREDICTIONS: 2015 Provincial Elections
This thread is only for your bold predictions of the 2015 Provincial Elections. No discussion, please, as we have a separate thread for that. Closest predictions' authors will get the bragging rights.
My prediction:
- 36 seats PC
- 27 seats WR
- 23 seats NDP
- 1 seat Lib
(Total should be 87 seats)
Let's go!
P.S. I know it's gonna look odd, because I've just edited my post to add this, but no post edits are allowed. If you wanna change your prediction it's fine, just write a new post.

I'm going with the PC minority win as well with a Wildrose opposition (although WR and NDP could be close).

NDP 24-29 (sweep EDM's 19+5-10 extra)
Lib 2-4
WR and PC will split the rest each getting between 25-31 seats.
No matter who's the winner, that party will be a slim minority.
I predict Prentice will tender his resignation right after the election and another election will be called in 2 years time.
By that time Albertans will be done with their romanticism with NDP.

NPD minority. A slim enough minority that WR and PC will be able to run the show.

NDP runs a surprisingly effective government, working with the WRP primarily in order to pass a lot of the accountability measures that both parties agree on, conceding some government cutbacks (particularly at the managerial level), and slightly increasing corporate taxes for big business to 11%. Neither the WRP or the PC feel that they have enough of an upper-hand to force an election for 3-4 years.

At this point I'm not sure that the PC's can recover their vote enough to win. Their support, as the old saying goes, is a mile wide and an inch deep. The NDP are so far ahead in Edm that it's hard to imagine them not taking pretty much every seat, that's a big head start. This is the strangest AB election in my memory.

Hard to guess what that massive group of undecideds will do.
At this point, I would guess
NDP - 37
PC - 30.5
WRA - 16
LIB - 3
AP - 0.5
I have no idea who wins between Dirks and Clark.

No one has predicted a majority yet so I am going to go out on a limb and call a PC majority.
PC 45 seats
NDP 22 seats
WRA 18 seats
Liberals 1 seat
AP 1 seat
