Tell me about Puerto Rico

Going to be heading down there for a week in November. The wife is going to be attending a women's studies conference in San Juan, so naturally I'll be looking for alternate ways to entertain myself.

Anyone have any recommendations? I was thinking I might do a liveaboard diving trip for a night or two, but curious to know what the mainland has to offer. The area obviously has a ton of history, and I'd like to take in as much of the place as I can.

Do a lot of walking around Old San Juan. Lots of cool sights, streets, and good little restaurants. You have to do a tour around the old fort. It's pretty huge and you can get some great pictures there, usually takes most of a day. There's a beautiful cemetery at the fort that overlooks the ocean.

We did a cruise that stopped in San Juan, it was beautiful. The morning we did a tour and the afternoon we walked through old San Juan. Out of several places I have visited in the Carribean, San Juan is my favorite, enjoy!

I have very fuzzy memories of a trip there in 1979. Loved the tour of the old fort. I remember a nice beach as well. I would love to go back some day.

If there's one thing I have learned in life, when it comes to relationships, and marriage, is that sharing interests can bring you closer to your partner. So it is only fitting that while your wife is at her women's studies conference, you take to the streets of San Juan, and educate yourself by studying women as well.
Just think, when you meet for dinner, you'll be able to share stories about all the neat things you learned about women that day. Your wife will love that you share that interest with her.

Trust me, I've been married before, I'm guessing we'd still be together if she had just shared my interest in studying women with me.
