Default How many days are good for Montreal?

I am planning vacation with my better half. Plan is to go London ontario (Day 1) meet some friends and leave for Toronto (Day 2) following Montreal (Day3 & Day 4)..I am planning to take train from London to Montreal. Any suggestion for making trip better.

Thanks

Make your trip better by avoiding Ontario and going directly to Montreal and meeting up with your buddies there.

Go to Au Pied de Cochon and get the Duck in a Can. Tack an extra day onto your trip for your heart to recover.

Start with the Foie Poutine as an appetizer! Then get to Joe Beef the next night - just as good as PDC.

Good thread,

Also looking to go to Montreal hopefully for a Flames game if it works out. What about going to Ottawa on the same trip?

Would 5 days be enough for both?

I think so. One night or two should be sufficient for Ottawa and then the rest in Montreal

Toronto deserves more than one day IMO.

Each city (TOR, OTT, MTL) deserves 3-4 days, at least.

Toronto doesn't even deserve a few hours of layover time, IMO.

I've never been to Ottawa, so I can't comment on that, but Montréal >>>>> Toronto

That's kinda what I've been thinking as well. Doing both in 4-5 days may be a bit much.

I want to go to Ottawa for Canada Day sometime.
