2014/15 "Food package" for the Press Level...

As has been mentioned in a few threads, the Flames will have a new "all inclusive" season ticket package for the Press Level next season (Row 4 and up). Apparently for every game you'll get:

- hamburger or hot dog
- popcorn
- 24 oz pop
- a dessert treat (i.e. malt)

Just wondering if anyone (i.e. in the 300 level, rows 1-3) would be interested in buying the "food" vouchers (i.e. assuming they are separate vouchers)?

Also, what do you think the equivalent value would be (I have no idea what concession prices are these days)?

This is quite bizarre thats its only for rows 4 and up in press level. Cant see the reasoning on why the first three rows cant get in on it. Or the rest of the dome for that matter.

Aren't the first 3 rows of PL a different colour and price structure too?

I don't think the demand is there for PL seats anymore (outside of rows 1-3). Offering free food/drink is a way to indirectly "reduce" prices without actually reducing prices.

Probably because the first three rows in Press Level are already the most amazing deal when it comes to tickets in the dome.

It's face value is something like $18-20/game/seat

It's pretty incredible, "buy food, get the game for free"

Well its not like row 4 is right behind row 3 there is a major difference

first 3 rows a hot commodity and they don't need to give anything away to sell those ones

and I dont think it will cost them much...how many dogs and popcorns are thrown in the trash each game?
