Default Charity Game Brawl FDNY vs NYPD

A Firefighter friend of mine posted this on his FB. Looks like it is legit and from today

This reminds me of a similar scene from the show Rescue Me.

The "Dunkin Donuts" chant was pretty funny though.

If someone had a gun none of this would have happened.

Didn't the Calgary Firefighters and Police have a similar incident? At the corral if I remember correctly.

Meh, emotions can boil over in sports. These guys trash talk each other all the time but it's still game face and respect when it comes down to it.

I think it was Dennis Leary vs. Cam Neely wasn't it?

If Rescue Me taught us anything it's that those FDNY vs. NYPD games were ruthless!

I wonder how may firefighting teams around the world have the Flames jersey template?
Bonus points for having the original socks from that uniform set, whose stripes didn't connect at the back.

I picked up a pair before that changed a few years back. Calgary and Tampa were the only teams that had that sock style; oddly, I think now only Carolina's newly introduced alternate uniforms are the only ones to have this style of socks.

First thing I thought was that Rescue Me was actually 100% accurate.

Second thing was how disgraceful that it happened during a charity event

I agree that this is disgraceful considering it is a charity event. And chanting those things is just wrong. Aren't they there playing to raise money and people are chanting or or against one or the other.

Silly.
