It is with great sadness we inform that Katie and Matt Stajan are grieving the loss of their son, Emerson Stajan. Emerson passed away Monday, March 3, 2014, following childbirth.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Katie and Matt at this difficult time. We appreciate that everyone has and will continue to respect their privacy during this period.
A private memorial service will take place in the ensuing days.

I went to a lunch with Ken King on Monday and he mentioned this. I didn't think it was appropriate to post, but it was tough to bite my tongue (or fingers in this case) whenever people posted about his leave of absence.
There aren't many worse things in life you can experience. Condolences to Matt and Katie.

OMFG. I am a father of 3. I don't know what I would do if I lost one of my precious kids. Brings tears to my eyes.
Stajan family, my family's thoughts and prayers are with you.

Oh, God, I can't imagine the pain they're going through. So unbelievably sad.
