Default Things to do in and around nakusp

Taking the missus to the arrow lakes area near nakusp - has anyone been out there before? Anything we absolutely must do?

The area is great for hot springs (commercial and non commercial.) We were there a few years ago and checked out a few non commercial hot springs based on the recommendations of a friend (she was a hydrologist and studied the hot springs in that area.) My friend knew pretty much all the hot springs and had a map showing all the little pools and what not.

Unfortunately they would be pretty inaccessible during the winter because many required logging road access and hiking.
