Just curious, would the league and its members be so kind as to allow me the provision of calling "dibs" on the Bruins team since my oldest first name is Boston?



....I'm way serious, not joking in the slightest. My wife and I are big Survivor fans so while we're all Flames fans first, the Bruins are obviously our second favorite NHL team.

On the more serious note, I have a hard time seeing that you at pick 17 is able to secure one of the most popular teams in the league. On the other hand perhaps people can have your request in mind when selecting teams, because you do seem really passionate.

It wouldn't be fair to reserve any team for a particular GM.

If the GM's ahead of you are feeling nice, they can leave it for you if they want to. But be aware that they are not at all required to.

By the way Fransken, djcloudz should be making his selection at some point today, and you're right after him, so keep an eye on this thread.

Yea, I'm just trying to pull on some heart strings, i realize i can't actually call dibs on the Bruins but thought I'd just throw it out there......if another team takes them, are bribes against the rules?
