Apparently Edmonton's "best" radio station feels the need to celebrate it's 20th birthday (honestly, I'm surprised they can count that high) with a special release of some "Calgary Sucks" T-shirts:

Containing such pearls of wisdom as "Not the Capital of Alberta" and "Chinooks are for pu$$ies", these are sure to be best sellers as they should colour coordinate very well with sweat pants.

Seriously - "Flames are lame" from a city whose team hasn't made the playoffs in six years? And the icing on the cake: "It's #####ing cold". Yes, EDMONTON is calling Calgary cold. This, my friends, is the finest hour of intelligence.

As someone who wasn't born and raised in either Calgary or Edmonton there is a reason I decided to locate myself here, Calgary is the better city in pretty much every way. Edmonton is kinda dirty, it's like a big Fort McMurray.

its always tickled me pink the rivalry between edmonton and calgary, as an outsider not born here.

i can assure both cities that the rest of canada/north america sees every major city in alberta/sask/manitoba as the same. cold prairie cities.

What? Southbound has always been Calgary Trail, Northbound has always been Gateway Blvd. This was never changed.
