I was a wee one, but I truly miss that small town in a big city version of Calgary. We even had SAAN stores, and drifters!

I still don't like the new white colour scheme on our busses...was nice to see them blue again like they should be.

Good call! And nice to see Brian Johnson make an appearance at 0:20 ...he had plenty of time on his hands back then as Bon Scott was the one rocking out on tour with ACDC.

Honest to god, I haven't been on a city bus even one time since I got my license in 1992.

Very familiar as I spent a lot of time on those buses between 1976 and 1978.

Seriously though, this is what Saskatoon looks like in 2012. When I drove out here this summer for my masters, first thought was the city was trapped in some weird Stephen King novel where nothing changes from 1980 on.

I moved to Calgary in 76 to work construction. The town was booming and as has been said it still had that small town atmosphere. After Vancouver I felt like I had stepped back in time ten years. This isn't to disparage Calgary as I really liked it and it's energy. Good to see some of the old bars I sometimes frequented, it was a great time in my life.

crazy to see the gulf refinery tanks across the street from those houses in inglewood - same road as the one that leads to the bird sanctuary, I believe.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
